One of the most critical areas of the hospital is the emergency room. The quality of medical treatments delivered in the emergency room is of paramount importance, and it most often has a direct impact on a patient’s morbidity and mortality. BRGH’s Emergency & Trauma Care Department comprises excellent medical staff who specialise in dealing with all types of crises. The facility has Cardiovascular Life Support Ambulances that are fully equipped with vital life support equipment and are managed around the clock by highly experienced doctors and trained nurses.
The Centre offers a variety of state-of-the-art emergency management and support equipment, as well as emergency access to additional sub-specialities and physicians. The fully equipped Centre is operated full-time by professional Emergency physicians, paramedics, and nurses specialising in all aspects of Emergency Medicine. The team focuses on providing treatment to patients even before they arrive at the hospital, increasing the odds of patient survival. The world-class trauma team is also competent in treating high-risk injuries such as catastrophic car accidents, gunshot wounds, and severe burns.
Aside from medical services, a touch of compassion, concern for the patient’s family, and minimal procedural protocols all contribute to the hospital’s image. These emergency rooms’ equipment, systems, and processes have been standardised for application across the system.
The facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for trauma and non-trauma medical and surgical emergencies and adheres to international standards as well as well-defined processes established by our Emergency Unit.
